Web Tier Development comments

  • A lot of work is needed to support BPEL in Web Tier presesntation aspects.
  • We are missing wysiwyg interfaces to faster web development.
  • - Update to never version of tomcat. - Support for Tomcat6 Development version natively. - Better possibility to switch project between several servers. (e.g migrate from tomcat to glassfish)
  • Have trouble on Linux with orphaned pop-up windows in which only the top of window appears and it cannot be closed. See nbusers email with Subject of "5.5 Q-build 3: orphaned dialog boxes"
  • No WYSIWYG editor for web pages??? Visual Studio and .NET have had this for YEARS!!! There are virtually no JSF components in the tool box. A JSF form and that's it? Not even a button?
  • It is much much better to have full GUI development of JSF.
  • Must implement Facelets WYSIWYG
  • It is in a good shape, but I wish there would be a visual editor like in Java Studio Creator.
  • Need better Facelets support
  • JavaScript support should be native, not through a plugin that has to be downloaded separately. sun-web.xml editor looks odd, does not follow usual NB look and feel.
  • Code finishing in faces-config.xml will be great
  • Can't wait for creators gui!
