NetBeans 5.0 Community Acceptance survey (preview)

This is the final Community Acceptance (CA) survey for NetCAT 5.0 program participants. Please take a while and answer the following several questions to the best of your knowledge and referring to the recently promoted NetBeans 5.0 Release Candidate build.

1. What do you think about the new GUI layout builder (Matisse) ? (required)

   It is in a perfect shape and ready for release.
   There are some problems but these can wait until the next release.
   It is not stable yet. There is following showstopper in this area:
   I do not use the new GUI layout builder.

2. What do you think about the new NetBeans Plug-in Development support ? (required)

   It is in a perfect shape and ready for release.
   There are some problems but these can wait until the next release.
   It is not stable yet. There is following showstopper in this area:
   I do not use the new NetBeans Plug-in Development support.

3. The main goals of the new CVS support were major improvements in the areas of ease-of-use, workflow and projects integration. Do you think these goals were achieved successfully ? (required)

   It was fully achieved.
   It was partially achieved.
   It is not stable yet. There is following showstopper in this area:
   I use the old NetBeans 4.1 CVS integration downloaded from Auto Update Center.
   I do not use CVS integration.

4. What do you think about the new Editor improvements (**) ? (required)

(**) More refactoring operations, redesigned code completion, error stripe, code templates, Java hints, component palette, SQL editor etc.

   It is in a perfect shape and ready for release.
   There are some problems but these can wait until the next release.
   It is not stable yet. There is following showstopper in this area:
   I do not use the new Editor improvements.

5. Do you find current basic support of JBoss and WebLogic to be ready for release ? (required)

    I use JBoss
             WebLogic
   It is in a perfect shape and ready for release.
   There are some problems but these can wait until the next release.
   It is not stable yet. There is following showstopper in this area:
   I do not use the new support for these application servers.

6. Do you find the new Options window to be well arranged and easy to use ? (required)

   It is in a perfect shape and ready for release.
   There are some problems but these can wait until the next release.

   I prefer using Advanced options window.
   I do not use options window at all.

(***) Please, do not provide comments on the NetCAT program itself. NetCAT focused survey will be done later.
