Editor comments

  • Code completion with freeform projects doesn't work very well. It never seems to suggest completions from my freeform projects.
  • The next step should be at least on par with eclipse's editor. It seems that it needs more features and fixes to reach that heights ;-)
  • Some people still have a few issues..
  • The CC and code navigator is slow at some points, I won't discuss the causes, but it deserves more attention from nb developers.
  • I wouldn't say 'perfect', as I do find some issues, but it's ready for use.
  • Never had a problem with it.
  • Code completion works better than ever. A few querky little things here and there, but fast and stable.
  • Great improvments!
  • Code completion is too intrusive, should not be so "in your face".
  • Very good, The only problem is that you can't use abbreviations in comments anymore. NetBeans need a new code template language: "Java Comments".
  • I only think that errorstripes should also show differences in a CVS-diff so you know where to expect differences.
  • Code completion for SQL commands (including appropriate table and column names) would be helpful.
  • I don't think there are any showstoppers, but it doesn't seem as reliable as I would like. Had code completion stop working + exceptions thrown when using the VSS module.
  • It is good for this release but we need want more smart editor for next versions
  • Code Completion don't work sometimes and still could be faster
  • It will still take me a little while to get used to, but overall I do like it.
  • The editor looks as good as ever , but the new code templates and completion features are best in class now.
  • It doesn't seem smooth or complete yet. "Find Usages" is always very awkward and never guesses what I need.
  • Pretty happy with most of this, the new SQL Editor will be a dream once it can edit data in tables and so on. I don't have to leave my IDE for much anymore.. and thats the way things should be.
  • I liked the editor a lot. Code compleation should work just exactly like I want but there are a lot of different 'I's you need to consider ;-)
  • Some rendering issues that _may_ be JDK related.
  • The editor seems to work very well for me. It picks up the api libraries as I add them, and completes code as I expect.
  • Projects tab doesn't show which files have errors.
  • This is definately my favorite editor.
  • It's not really a problem, but I would like to see more BubbleLight proposals.
  • Please see issue #70782 as it is a real pain and really needs to be addressed. Code completion itself works great, but the part which decides whether I want it to pop up or not does not...the time out doesn't work correctly, so auto-code completion pops up regardless if I keep typing or don't.
  • More improvments is required (ie find Selection on ErrorStripe,
  • Some performance issues have to be looked over.
