The wiki is a nice resource, but there is still a need to publish more comprehensive educational/training material.
The netbeans library support project needs some UI enhancements.
It is OK but need 1-more wizards , (menu items , toolbars ,..) 2-visual layer editor
Better JNLP support: easy why to set certification, and other jnlp fields.
Only one of the issues I listed in my Plug-in Development survey response on Nov 7 has been addressed and that work did not make it into 5.0. I'm disappointed that some issues (#61528) have been problems for years and there is apparently no interest in fixing it. I haven't tried using any of the wizards lately.

Tutorials need to be updated to reflect the recent changes.
It's a big enhancement in that domain, and I am sure we will see more and more plug-in for NetBeans now. I am using NetBeans since 2002, and it's the FIRST time I created a plugin for NetBeans. I am sure I am not alone in such a case.
There just seem to be some pieces that need to be worked on to make it a little more fluid (I think it will be worked out with use and feedback over the next so many months), but all in all I like it a lot and think it's awesome. I think the issues are minimal and can certainly be worked out.
