Purpose: Global options - assure set options in Main Window Tools-> Global Options.
Setup: Start IDE with clear userdir - default MDI mode is set.

1Form objects
1. Select [Tools|Options...|Editing|Form Editor Settings].
2. Change options in Form objects Properties (Selection Border Size/Color, Drag Feedback Color).
3. Change options in Form objects Expert (Event Variable Name, Grid X/Y, Apply Grid to Position/Size, Variables Modifier... ).
4. Assure all changes in Form Editor window and workspace. Close and open Form Editor and assure visual appearance.
5. Try to close Forte and run again, assure values of readed properties.
RESULT: Bug #6505
2Component palette
1. Select [Tools|Options...|IDE Configuration|Look and Feel|Palette].
2. Delete, Rename, Move up/down, Change order of categories and beans. Cut, Copy, Delete and Paste component from one category to another or to the same. Select more components or categories and try cutting, deleting and copying.
3. All changes assure in Component palette and try creating new frame with these components.
RESULT: Bug #8598
3Templates
1. Select [Tools|Options...|Source Creation and Management|Templates|GUIForms].
2. Add some new templates and set their Properties and Execution.
RESULT: Assure using new templates.

Test suite 3: Test shortcuts

Purpose: Shortcuts - assure set shortcuts in Main Window Tools -> Keyboard Shortcuts.
Setup: Start IDE with clear userdir - default MDI mode is set.

1Shortcuts in Form Editor and Component Inspector
1. Use Tools -> Keyboard Shortcuts (Edit, Form and Window) to see shortcuts -> action mapping and test all defined shortcuts.
2. Create new shortcuts for tested action and test their in Form Editor and Component Inspector.
RESULT: Assure using shortcuts Bug #10631.

Test suite 4: MDI manual test

Purpose: Form Window test.
Setup: Start IDE with clear userdir - default MDI mode is set.

#Test caseDescription
1Form module MDI friendly
1. Pass all tests which would be dependent on Window mode. Each tests which work with AWT components, focus and Test action.
2. Open form file with AWT components (top-component), move Form Editor window over all desktop pane, open more than one AWT frame and assure repainting crossovers forms.
RESULT: Bug #9211,#9867,#11532.
